Lead QA Engineer (m/f/d)

Your challenges
  • Take technical leadership & ownership of different test deliverables for the team
  • Leverage your strong analytical skills to participate in troubleshooting issues with different teams to drive toward root cause identification and resolution
  • Elaborate, improve and establish quality processes and techniques on the team
  • Identify, assess, mitigate and escalate project risks
  • Define testing strategy based on business needs and implement this strategy in everyday work
  • Organize team members, set the testing team goals and objectives, prioritize tasks
  • Solve problems by identifying the goal and allocating resources to fix them
  • Takes responsibility for the system as a whole and its quality, which should always be on or above the established level
  • Ensure that testing process is following testing standards, guidelines and quality documents on the project
  • Establish metrics to evaluate compliance with quality standards for the product
  • Identify and develop plans for closing gaps in the skills of the test team
Your profile
  • At least 6 years in Software Testing
  • Over 3 years of management experience, including people management experience of 3+ team members
  • Advanced knowledge of testing approaches, techniques, and methodologies
  • Excellent knowledge of SDLC within different product development models
  • Experience in reviewing and contributing to the high-level documentation (Test Plan, Test Strategy, Requirement Specification)
  • Strong knowledge of estimation techniques and methodologies
  • Experience in training and coaching people to aсcquire needed hard skills, developing  individual education plans
  • Experienced in process negotiation and clarification of the business needs
  • Knowledge and experience in use of quality metrics
  • Knowledge of relational and non-relational Databases, SQL commands
  • Extensive experience with web development technologies
  • Experience in CI process, version control, defect tracking, and TMT such as GIT, Jira, etc.
  • Strong experience in API  & UI test automation
  • Experience in risk management
  • Previous experience in any programming language
  • Experience in elaboration and review solutions for the performance testing
  • Experience in event-based architecture testing

Besides our basic requirements, it would be nice if you had the following as well:

  • Previous experience with Cloud stack (Docker / Terraform / Ansible / Kubernetes)
  • Experience in Chaos engineering
  • Experience in Security testing
